Aquaman, also known as Arthur Curry, was created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger. His first appearance was in More Fun Comics #73 in Nov 1941.
Aquaman is the king of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. But he is the son of a human lighthouse keeper and the queen of Atlantis.
His abilities include superhuman strength, aquatic skills, and the power to communicate with sea creatures. He is known for his distinctive orange and green costume and his trident.
Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, endurance, agility, telepathic control over marine life, ability to breathe underwater and swim at incredible speeds.
First Appearance: More Fun Comics #73 (1941).
